The Green Mountain Community Network, Inc., a private not-for-profit organization was founded in early 2007, to manage the Green Mtn. Express, which has safely and efficiently provided transportation services in and around Bennington County, VT since 1985. In addition, the Network also sponsors the Green Mountain Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and Volunteer Center serving Southern Vermont.

What's New:

The 2012 Bus Schedules are now available

- No fare increases

- The bus shelter will no longer be at the intersection of School and Pleasant Streets. Buses will be meeting at the new Transit Center at 215 Pleasant Street.

- More service on the Red Line two hours of additional daily service! The Red Line will now operate until 7:00 PM Monday through Friday.

- There are some minor changes to the times of the other lines, please double check before boarding.

- In partnership with the Moover (DVTA) a new, free, round trip bus service to Wilmington with connections on to Brattleboro (via DVTA) will be introduced on the 9th. The Emerald Line Service will travel over Route 9 three times per day, Monday through Friday. Flag stops are permitted where safe.

- Mini Pocket (fold up) schedules are available again this year.
