The Green Mountain Community Network, Inc., a private not-for-profit organization was founded in early 2007, to manage the Green Mtn. Express, which has safely and efficiently provided transportation services in and around Bennington County, VT since 1985. In addition, the Network also sponsors the Green Mountain Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and Volunteer Center serving Southern Vermont.

What's New:

The 2011 Bus Schedules are now available

- No fare increases

- More service on the Saturday Green line, buses will NOW arrive at every stop every 30 minutes!

- The Red line no longer goes travels North Branch Street. It now returns to the Pleasant Street Transfer Station via Park Street; However, will continue to upon request serve both the Middle School and Shield's Drive.

- Aldi's/CVS is now accessible on the Brown Line.

- See the schedule for an additional run to North Bennington on M-W-F in the afternoon.

- There is increased service to the Bennington College.

- Now more regularly scheduled stops at Hannaford Supermarket.

- Note: The Orange line no longer travels up Center Hill in Manchester, it will travel out Depot Street to Manchester Square and return to Route 7 via Depot Street, now serving the Manchester Rite Aid in both directions.

- All lines will still deviate up to 1/4 of a mile upon request for an additional charge. Please call our offices the day before to arrange your request. Be aware that buses cannot pull into parking lots along the route unless they are listed; these types of stops are considered deviation requests and therefore must be scheduled in advance.
